The last ten years has seen a massive change in my career. From starting at the age of 30 as a marketing coordinator in my hometown of Newcastle Australia to joining Google as a senior engineer in the Silicon Valley just before I turned 40, this post details the journey I've taken.

While recently back in Australia we had a meetup day with Deckee and Flotespace. A great afternoon with some amazing minds and successful people coming together.
